Product Description

Zaatar Oregano is native to the Mediterranean, where it's seasoned dishes for thousands of years! It's a staple in many Middle Eastern kitchens, beloved for the pungent pepperiness it brings to dishes of all kinds, whether used fresh or dried. Its leaves are almost velvety soft, and distinctly heart-shaped with deep veins. Its white flower heads are shaped like cones. Add it to some of your favorite veggie dishes, and you'll love the taste not only of oregano, but also thyme and marjoram. A truly complex, delicious herb that belongs with you favorites! If harvesting a large amount at a time, be sure to use our Herb Keeper to keep your herbs fresh and delicious for weeks at a time. Tender perennial. 90 days to maturity.
