Early harvest; buttery flavor
Yukon Gold Potato
Early harvest; buttery flavor
- Early to mature, high-yielding crop
- Yellow flesh great for baking or mashing
- Resists sprouting for excellent storage
Each harvest of Yukon Gold produces a very early, large, great-tasting crop of yellow-fleshed potatoes that are true kitchen classics--perfect for baking or mashing. Yukon Gold's golden skin is shallow-eyed, and since it matures early in the season, you can enjoy it in dishes much sooner than other potatoes. It's resistant to sprouts, and its good storability when kept in a dry, dark place make this a widely popular variety. Be sure to plant it in fertile, well-drained sandy and loamy soil in full sunlight for the best results. Once harvested, use our Vegetable Brush to remove any stubborn bits of dirt from the skins. 60-80 days to maturity.
