Mammoth Mums make a big impact in the late-season garden—and Yellow Quill is a reliable favorite. In late summer to fall, yellow flowers with yellow centers cover the mounded plant. They look impressive when grouped together or with Mammoth Mums in other flower colors. Truly perennial mums, Mammoth Mums come back bigger every year and reach 3 feet tall within three years. Easy care—no deadheading required and cold hardy, they're an impressive addition to perennial flowerbeds and containers. These deer-resistant perennials perform best in full sun to partial shade. Zones 3-9.
