Product Description
You CAN grow sweet, delicious watermelons in small spaces when you choose Sugar Baby Watermelon seeds. Imagine harvesting your own crisp, summery melons--perfect for seasonal fruit salads, juicing or just eating large wedges like you did when you were a kid. These watermelons are the perfect size for refrigerator storage, too. So, the fruit lasts longer, even after cutting. Tough, yet compact vines are reliable producers and bear plenty of sweet, 6-10 lb. fruits in summer. Thin, hard rinds have distinctive, dark green stripes that become nearly black when fruit is ready to be picked. Plant in full sun sites with sandy or loamy soil for best results. 85 days to maturity.
