Product Description

With a rich, non-bitter flavor, Vital Green II is easy to grow and can be harvested as baby spinach or at full maturity for a tender addition to salads, sandwiches, soups, and more! It's hardy and disease resistant, too. Plant in well-drained, light, rich soil in full sunlight so that Vital Green gets all the nutrients it needs. Pick the larger leaves for a great meaty texture and to prolong the harvest period. The leaves are a dark, rich green, with an attractive, elongated umbrella-like shape. Filled with cancer-fighting antioxidants, spinach contains high amounts of calcium, dietary fiber, and enough iron to rival some meats. It's resistant to white rust and downy mildew diseases, too. 35 days to maturity.
