TX 1015-Y Supersweet Onion

TX 1015-Y Supersweet Onion can grow as big as softballs-and still retain a wonderfully sweet flavor with a nice crunch. This giant yellow is super sweet and the best for eating raw, in salads and salsas, and on sandwiches. TX 1015-Y Supersweet is also delicious when lightly cooked in stir-fries. The up to 1-pound bulbs store well for 2-3 months. A short-day onion, TX 1015-Y begins forming bulbs when daylight lasts 10-12 hours, making it a good choice for Southern gardens.
