Product Description
This top-selling turnip checks all the boxes: crisp and mild flavor, fine-grained texture, large roots, and big yields. Purple Top White Globe Turnip is an heirloom variety known for purple-topped roots as big as softballs. The 4-6 in. roots have a wonderful crisp and sweet flavor, making them excellent for fresh eating. They're also good roasted and cooked into soups and stews. Like other turnips, they are low in calories and loaded with fiber and vitamins. The tops are also good cooked as greens. Purple Top White Globe Turnip is an outstanding fall crop, as frost enhances its flavor. 55 days until maturity.
