Product Description
This unique dual-purpose squash grows on long, aggressive vines and holds up well to squash borers, cucumber beetles, powdery mildew, and cool temps. Summer Tromboncino's baby green fruits can be harvested like summer squash at 8-12" long, when they're sweet like zucchini--so steam them, grill them, or saute them and enjoy! If you wait an additional 30 days, Tromboncino will grow up to 3' long to be used like you would any winter squash. Full of antioxidants that promote optimal weight and heart health, squash also contains alpha- and beta-carotenes, which promote respiratory health and work as an anti-inflammatory agent. 60 or 90 days to maturity.
