Product Description

Hardy on the outside, yet mild, sweet, and crisp on the inside, Tasty Green is resistant to several cucumber diseases like Cucumber Vein Yellowing Virus and Powdery Mildew. It's a Japanese cucumber bred for slicing, and it produces high yields of 8-9" slender, dark green fruits. Slice thinly for a delicious addition to summer salads, or chop finely to bring bright, fresh flavor to a cool tzatziki sauce. If your garden experiences high temperatures and humidity in the summer, this cucumber will be ready for it! It's a "burpless" variety of cucumber, meaning its levels of cucurbitacin (a compound that can create a bitter taste and cause burping) are extremely low. 60 days to maturity.
