Sweetness Hybrid Sweet Corn

A great way to start sweet corn season, Sweetness Hybrid Sweet Corn (sy) offers exceptionally flavorful ears with tender-crisp kernels and a high sugar content. It's a drastic improvement over older early sweet corn varieties. The 8-inch, bicolored ears have solid tip fill, and they're slow to convert sugars to starches. While great for eating fresh, the corn also freezes and cans well. Sweetness has excellent emergence, and the vigorous plants have sturdy stalks and protective husks. 68 days to maturity.
