Product Description

Starhawk lettuce is a glossy, deep green mini Romaine type with a crisp-crunchy texture and excellent flavor, making it one of our personal favorites in our garden trials! It's the perfect size to make a salad for 2, and holds extremely well in the garden, even in the heat of summer. All romaine lettuce contains folic acid and antioxidants that help maintain blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of age-related vision problems. While Starhawk will tolerate a wide range of soils, it prefers well-drained, cool, loose soil with plentiful moisture. Plant in full sun for best results. It's a much earlier and better-performing lettuce than Parris Cos! 50 days to maturity.
