Spartacus Hybrid Asparagus

Enjoy high yields of long, straight spears for years with this all-male asparagus hybrid. Spartacus Hybrid Asparagus consistently produces uniform, 9-inch, medium thick spears with purple-tinged tips in the spring. It's also well-adapted to many weather conditions and handles cold winters and warm summers. A perennial vegetable, asparagus plants can keep producing for 10-15 years and sometimes longer. They perform best when planted in sunny locations with well-drained soils. Zones 3-8. PP30712. This variety is protected under U.S. Patent No. US15/732,433.
