The most cold-hardy highbush blueberry you can grow, this 3-4' bush is compact, yet extremely productive. It's incredibly easy to grow, and adaptable to many different soil types. It produces medium-size, juicy-sweet berries that are excellent for jams and baking due to their high sugar content. We love to enjoy them in muffins, scones, cakes, and pies. Even after their crop is finished, Northland makes a beautiful ornamental since it turns red-orange and yellow in the fall with bright yellow wood. Be sure to keep the birds from enjoying all these delicious berries before you do-try our Bird Netting to cover your blueberry plants. Ripens early July. Zones 3-7. 12-18" bareroot.
