Product Description

In as little as 9 weeks, Scarlet Nantes produces delicious, squat carrots that are practically coreless! The 6" roots are perfect for snacking, with a juicy and nearly grainless texture and a crisp, sweet flavor that pairs well with your favorite savory veggie dip. Plant extra for the lunch box for both kids and adults! Similar to Fire Wedge, Scarlet Nantes also does well in clay soil, and also likes fertile, deep, well-drained sandy and loamy soils. Plant in full sunlight for best results. Once picked, store Scarlet Nantes carrots in a cool, dry, dark place. 65 days to maturity.
