Red Pontiac Potatoes

A small red potato that fits in the palm of your hand, Red Pontiac is our favorite for mashing. Use our vegetable brush to clean dirt off the outside so you can leave the thin, bright red skins on for extra nutrients! Mash with a splash of cream and, for ultimate decadence, a few ounces of cream cheese! These potatoes stay firm and will hold their shape during cooking. Matures midseason, but tubers develop early and can be dug small. It grows well in well-drained loamy or clay soil, especially in full sunlight. They'll store a long time when stored in a dark, dry place.
