Prairie Fire Crabapple

Enjoy great beauty—with so little effort. Prairie Fire Crabapple Tree is resistant to scab, rust, fire blight and even Japanese beetles. It offers so much beauty, too. In early spring, the tree is covered with pinkish-red blooms. New purple-maroon foliage follows. The leaves mature to a reddish-green summer color and then change to vibrant red, orange and purple hues in the fall. Glossy red fruits add to its ornamental qualities—and provide a food source for birds. Growing 15-20 feet tall, Prairie Fire has a rounded habit. Zones 6-7.
