Parsley

PARSLEY

Contains volatile oil components such as myristicin, limonene, eugenol, and alpha-thujene. These have been shown to inhibit the formation of tumors in animals. This qualifies parsley as a "chemoprotective" food-helping to neutralize types of carcinogens, including benzopyrenes which are found in cigarette smoke and charcoal grills.
