Stuttgarter Reisen Onion Set

Introducing a long day onion that's tops for storing, keeping for up to several months after harvest without loss of flavor or bite. Stuttgarter Reisen Onion Sets are fast-growing and easy to plant, producing plenty of uniform, golden-skinned yellow onions with a smooth, slightly pungent flavor. This new variety can be enjoyed raw, sliced into salads or topping your favorite sandwich, but its mellow flavor is ideal for grilling, sautéing or cooked into recipes. Harvest in 2-4 weeks after planting for mild, fresh-tasting green onions. Leave sets in the ground through the summer for full-sized, golden-yellow onions. Either way, you'll be blown away by the flavor of this new onion.
