Product Description
Versatile and early, Swiss Giant Zermatt Leeks offer a sweeter, more delicate flavor than onions. Popular in Europe for some time, Swiss Giant can be used in the baby stage or at full size. Leeks add wonderful flavor to creamy soups, stocks and other recipes. A hardy vegetable, leeks have a long growing season. Many gardeners start leek seeds indoors and transplant them to the outdoor garden in the spring. They grow best in well-drained soil and with a consistent source of moisture. 75 days to maturity.
