Product Description

At Gardens Alive!, we pride ourselves on offering our customers the best fruits and vegetables we can find for their gardens. That's why we are so happy to present this new rhubarb that is not only delicious, but is actually heat tolerant! Introducing KangaRhu--a breakthrough rhubarb that originated in Australia, but is now available to our U.S. customers. Rich in color with a classic tart rhubarb taste, KangaRhu also exhibits exceptional garden performance and outstanding heat tolerance. In fact, when tested in our Ohio gardens, the mid-July heat didn't even faze it. While other rhubarbs bolted, browned or just simply died out, KangaRhu was still going strong. Plus, it produces stalks of the deepest red we've seen. Extremely flavorful when cooked, it is perfect for your favorite pies, desserts or jams. Zones 4-8.
