Product Description
Thrives in cooler climates—making it an excellent choice for Northern gardeners. Tundra Honeyberry, also known as a haskap berry, produces firm, blue berries with a melt-in-your-mouth, sweet-tart flavor. The berries ripen in late May to early June, usually before strawberries. Growing 5 ft. tall, the bushes exhibit very few disease or insect problems and are a good choice for the edible landscape. Tundra Honeyberry was developed at the University of Saskatchewan and is exceptionally cold hardy. Performs best when planted in partial shade to full sun. Plant at least two honeyberry varieties for pollination. Zones 2-8.
