Green Mountain Boxwood Hedge

Shrubs give gardens and landscapes color, texture and structure—and the petite Green Mountain Boxwood shrub is easy to fit into smaller spaces. Growing just 24-36 tall, this evergreen shrub has small, dark green leaves throughout all seasons. Its compact, upright, conical growth habit makes it ideal as a specimen or accent plant—or group together to create a foundation planting or low hedge. For a formal look, prune the Green Mountain Boxwood annually. For the best foliage, plant in partial shade, as full afternoon sun may cause the leaves to bronze in winter. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid. Zones 4-9
