Green Ice Leaf Lettuce

Popular lettuce variety is easy to grow, high in vitamins and has a wonderfully crisp texture and crunch. Crisper than most leaf lettuce varieties, Green Ice Leaf Lettuce has very green, ruffled leaves that grow 12 inches tall and are slow to bolt. While its crispness is reminiscent of iceberg, its nutritional value is higher than typical iceberg lettuce. Green Ice Leaf Lettuce adds attractive green color and crunch to salads and sandwiches. It can be grown in containers, raised beds or the garden and prefers full sun and sandy soils. 45 days to maturity.
