Product Description

Wrapped in a faintly striped, medium green, smooth skin, Slicing Garden Sweet Burpless Hybrid is perfect for slicing and fresh eating with its sweet, bitter-free taste! Slice into summer veggie salads or use in tzatziki sauce, or harvest when the cucumbers are only 2-4" for pickling. This is the highest-yielding burpless cucumber we've found yet. What does "burpless" mean? Simple: these cucumbers contain very low levels of cucurbitacin, which is a compound that, in higher amounts, creates a bitter taste in the cucumber and can cause burping after eating! The plants are extra-productive thanks to their huge number of female flowers, producing cucumbers around 10" long. It will resist against Downy and Powdery Mildew diseases. 55 days to maturity.
