Fusarium Wilt

Fusarium Wilt

Symptoms:

In young melon, cucumber and watermelon plants: damping-off, stem collapse and death may occur. In older plants: yellowing, stunting, wilting and death. The disease occurs wherever cucurbits are grown.

Solutions:

Use a biofungicide as a soil drench on newly sown seeds, transplants and established plants. Do not allow soil to thoroughly dry out. We recommend Root Guardian™ Biofungicide for Soilborne Diseases. Maintaining soil pH at 6.5 to 7.0 helps. Test soil pH; if it is too acid, use Quik-Cal™ Pelletized Calcium to raise pH.
