Fusarium Basal Rot

Fusarium Basal Rot

Symptoms:

First seen as curving, yellowing of leaf tips, progressively moving downward.

Solutions:

Do not grow grain cover crops in rotation with onions or garlic. Use Trichoderma harsianum as a soil drench on newly sown seeds, transplants and established plants. We recommend Root Guardian™ Biofungicide for Soilborne Diseases. Maintaining soil pH at 6.5 to 7.0 helps. Test soil pH; if it is too acid, use Quik-Cal™ Pelletized Calcium to raise pH. Do not allow soil to thoroughly dry out.
