Its big, thick 7-9" roots are a brilliant red-orange with a satisfying crunch. The flavor is rich and sweet, delicious for fresh eating, cooking or juicing, all of which will pack a nutritious punch. Carrots support healthy vision and boost your immune system with vitamin A and plenty of antioxidants. If you haven't picked all the carrots you'd like by the end of the season, no problem! Cover your carrots with about a foot of leaf mulch and you can leave them underground all winter long, and then harvest in spring or throughout the winter months. 80 days to maturity.
