Common Bacterial Blight

Common Bacterial Blight

Symptoms:

During periods of warm, humid weather, bacterial blight can be especially harmful to pods. Overwintering occurs in infested plant debris.

Solutions:

After harvest, clean up all crop residue. Rotate crops. If the disease has been a problem in the past, spray a copper soap fungicide before the disease normally appears. Continue applications as long as weather conditions are favorable to the disease. We recommend Soap-Shield Flowable Liquid Copper Fungicide.
