Product Description

Cimarron's 10-12" tall leaves are deeply red--almost purple--with hints of green throughout the plant. We love its delicious flavor and crisp, tender texture. It can fill a salad on its own, or add it with other leaf varieties to bring a bit of color to your salad mix. Cimarron is virtually impervious to bolting, meaning it won't produce flowering stems that divert nutrition away from the leaves. Plant it in rich, well-drained soil in full or partial sunlight for the best, tastiest leaves. All romaine lettuce contains folic acid and antioxidants that help maintain blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of age-related vision problems. 60-70 days to maturity.
