Large yields deliver loads of delicious fruit that you must try fresh off the vine—everyone will love them! Attractive, golden orange fruit is irresistibly sweet and juicy due to an exceptionally high sugar content.

  • Botanical Name: Lycopersicon lycopericum 'Sungold'
  • Season: Spring
  • Sun/Shade: Full Sun
  • Height: 4 -6 feet
  • Spacing: 24 - 36 inches.
  • Zone: 3-9
  • Spread: 3 feet
  • Foliage: Medium green foliage.
  • Depth: Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep. For plants, plant them deeper than in the pot. Plant them just below the first set of leaves.
  • Germination: 8 - 10 Days
  • Days to Maturity: 65 Days
  • Fruit: Exceptionally sweet, bright tangerine-orange cherry tomatoes about 1/2 ounce each. Vibrant color and outstanding flavor.
  • Soil Preference: Rich, deep, well-drained soil. pH 5.5 - 6.8
  • Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
  • Pruning: Prune by cutting out suckers (auxillary shoots between the stems and the leaves) to produce larger fruit. Fruit also ripens earlier since the sun can reach it more easily.
  • Form: Vegetable, fruit, cherry tomato, indeterminate
  • Flowers: Small yellow flowers.
  • Seed Count: Approximately 20 seeds per packet.
  • Pollinator: Self pollination.
