Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood Hedge

There's so much to like about this deciduous shrub. Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood provides seasons of interest-from its clusters of fragrant, white flowers in late spring, to its dark green leaves, tinged with red and orange shades that turn purple in the fall, to its red stems that stand out in winter. This fast-growing, upright spreading shrub grows 6-9 ft. tall with a slightly wider spread. Its flowers attract butterflies, and birds feast on its fruits. Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood tolerates wet soil conditions, and deer tend to pass it by. A versatile shrub, it can be planted in naturalized areas, used for erosion control or planted as a flowering hedge along walkways or property boundaries. Zones 3-8
