Product Description

Versatile and great for long-term storage, this sweet onion will complement all kinds of cooking! Stir-fries, pico de gallo, sandwiches, casseroles, soups (particularly French onion soup)--you name it, and this onion will go well with it. Plus, Candy and all onions have been associated with reducing blood pressure, and having anti-inflammatory properties. Candy will begin forming bulbs on days when the sun lasts 12-14 hours. Since they're "day neutral" onions, they're well adapted to growing in many areas of the United States, except the far North and deep South. Its strong root system allows Candy to grow to healthy and large bulbs that are well-formed and deliciously sweet. 85 days to maturity.
