Blue Emerald Creeping Phlox

When faced with a difficult garden site, look no further than this floriferous phlox to add beauty and color to the entire area. A bevy of lavender-blue blooms appear atop the widely spreading plant in late spring, delighting gardeners and garden visitors alike. A low grower, Blue Emerald Carpet Phlox reaches a modest 4-6" in height, making it the perfect choice for front borders, rock gardens, mixed containers and as a gorgeous flowering ground cover. It does very well on slopes, eliminating the telltale signs of soil erosion, and is drought-resistant once established. Butterflies love the profusion of blooms and will visit the area often, but deer won't bother with Carpet Phlox. Phlox subulata 'Blue'
