Bloomsdale Long Standing Spinach

Harvest Long Standing Bloomsdale spinach when its spinach leaves are full grown. It's an heirloom spinach, with dark, deep green leaves, a savory taste, and proven anti-cancer benefits. It's rich in calcium and dietary fiber as well! It's heat tolerant and can be harvested up to two weeks longer than most spinach varieties—plus it's cold-hardy, making it a great variety for both spring and fall plantings. The crumpled Bloomsdale spinach leaves will add texture to dishes; try it raw in salads or toss in a handful with your favorite stir-fries. If you're new to planting spinach, eliminate the guesswork with handy 12" x 12" seed mats. Bloomsdale seeds are encased in biodegradable paper that protects the seeds during germination and dissolves in the course of watering. Simply place seed mat in the garden or in one of our Grow Tub® containers and water as usual. Create a square foot garden with no worries about over- or under-seeding. 42 days to maturity.
