Product Description
An improved version of a favorite Portuguese heirloom, Tronchuda Beira Sea Kale is an easy-to-grow variety with a mild, sweet flavor. Tall heads of paddle-shaped, blue-green leaves with white mid-ribs are a wonderful addition to soups and stews. It's also excellent sautéed or braised. Like other kale, it's loaded with nutrition. More heat tolerant than other kale varieties, Tronchuda Beira Sea Kale is a top choice for southern gardens. This cool season crop can be grown in the spring or fall. A light frost improves the tenderness of the leaves. 60 DAYS.
