Product Description
The beefsteak is considered America's favorite slicer for a reason! This old-fashioned heirloom variety yields big, meaty 2-lb. fruits with rich, full flavor and low acid. The flavor is best when left to ripen on the vine and is perfect for slicing to eat fresh or add to sandwiches and salads. Vigorous vines continue to grow all season until the first killing frost. Indeterminate. Disease resistance: VF. 75 days to maturity.

- Depth:Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep. Transplant outdoors after any chance of frost is past. When transplanting, set the plant deep, up to the first true leaves, by digging a deep hole or trench. The stem will develop roots along it's length.

- Days to Maturity: 75 Days
- Yield: Very heavy yields.
- Fruit: Flat, solid, very meaty and juicy flesh, rich red color. Up to 2 lbs.
- Soil Preference: Deep, rich, well-drained soil.

- Pruning: Prune by cutting out suckers (auxillary shoots between the stems and the leaves) to produce larger fruit. Fruit also ripens earlier since the sun can reach it more easily.
