Product Description
The best-tasting turnip we've tried! Both the roots and tops offer excellent eating qualities. The 2-3 inch, snow-white roots are incredibly sweet, crisp and delicious. They're tops for eating raw. The vibrant green tops have a mild peppery taste when cooked. Because the tops remain short, Amelie Hybrid is an excellent turnip variety to grow in tunnels or greenhouses. The plants are bolt-tolerant, too. Amelie can be sown in the spring or summer garden. 50 to 80 days to maturity.
