Radishes are a good source of riboflavin, vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, copper and manganese. They are also high in dietary fiber, vitamin C, folate and potassium. Radishes are quick to mature and easy to grow!
A radish can grow from seed to edible plant in just 25 days.
There are spring and summer radish varieties. Spring radishes thrive in cool weather and mature in less than 4 weeks while summer radishes tolerate higher temperatures. They can be sown as early as spring radishes and then into early summer, which means an extended harvest time. Spring and summer radishes will be milder and sweeter flavored if they don't experience periods of drought.
Radishes require no spray and are trouble free!
