Comments: Mix generous amounts of peat moss, compost or well rotted manure into the soil. Keep soil moist, not soggy. Mulch to help retain moisture. Flowers seem to have a luminous color. This variety is a tetraploid (Double the chromosomes) so has larger flowers, thick, erect stems, thick leaf blades and strong roots. Good for borders or along streams or ponds.
