Super-sturdy strain thrives in all parts of the country; withstands the worst winters without mulch. Produces a fair amount of runners and huge crops of bright red berries bursting with juice. Honey-sweet flavor is excellent fresh and for processing. Self pollinating. Zones 3-7. Ships in 3" pots.

excellent survival rate

As always I am a skeptic when ordering bare root starts via mail order or online I like the hands on approach when buying plants but within 4 days I have green foliage and 14 plants growing out of a 12 plant order.I will definitely reorder through Gurneys again 100%.

this is a great plant for cold weather

This strawberry plant does wonderful in cold weather I live in Wyoming and the winters are really hard and this plant comes back and does wonderful without much work. I love it!!
