Your garden is doing great, but now the insect pests are in full force. What should you do?
- 1. Identify the pest. Narrow your definition of pest. The simple sight of a bug should not be a call to arms!
- 2. Evaluate the infestation. Think control rather than eradication. Beneficial insects live in your garden too.
- 3. Choose an appropriate control. If you observe a bit before reacting, you'll probably find that much insect-pest damage is more aesthetic than real.
- 4. Evaluate the control. Choose the best strategy for controlling insect pests while doing the least collateral harm
