This tough-as-nails shrub rose truly knows how to make an entrance! Clusters of carefree, bright pink blossoms dance with a backdrop of glossy, green foliage that's the center of attention all season long, even during winter! Developed in Canada, Party Hardy is so hardy that it can easily survive even the harshest winters of zone 3 without protection. This no-spray rose actually performs best in the cold!   • Zones: 3 - 10 (-20 degrees F)
  • Height: 4 - 6 ft
  • Spacing: 2 - 3 ft
  • Depth: Plant so the crown of the plant (where the canes meet the roots) is even with the soil level. Don't bury the crown.
  • Spread: 2 - 3 ft
  • Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade. Fulll sun is best for quicker flowering and higher quality plants.
  • Soil Preference: Well drained, enriched soil
  • Pruning: Prune to maintain shape and increase branching once established. Remove any dead or damaged branches. Pruning should be done after flowering.
  • Color: Deep pink with lighter pink reverse.
  • Foliage: Glossy medium green foliage.
  • Blooms: Late spring to fall. (all summer)
  • Flowers: Old fashioned, very double and rounded with medium-large, about 4 inches in diameter, in clusters, over 40 petals . Mild apple fragrance.
  • Growth Rate: Moderate once established
