Tasty but invasive
Mar 25, 2014  |  By Jo
I love this herb for cooking and salads. It has a distinct garlic aroma and flavor, but is not in the same family as garlic. This is great for people like my roommate who are allergic to garlic. I only give it 3 stars because it is an aggressive and even invasive plant that is classified as a noxious weed in some areas because it out-competes may other crops. Be careful where you plant it -- I suggest a large drain or chimney tile to contain it; and keep an eye out for volunteers in your beds.
