Minty tea
May 12, 2011  |  By Debbie
"I planted these mint in ""Earth Boxes"" which makes it easy to separate them and/or move them in during the winter. Mint is invasive and can take over your entire garden, I noticed my neighbor ""now"" has spearmint. I plant stevia ""Sweet Leaf"" too and make minty sweet tea with no calories!"

Super healthy

Healthiest looking plants I've ever had shipped. Took immediately.

Don't plant mint together
Apr 26, 2010  |  By Karen
I purchased the peppermint, spearmint, and applemint plants a few years ago. They have done really well, however, I didn't know you weren't supposed to plant them near each other. Now they all taste very similar and the spearmint flavor won out. I don't want others to make the same mistake.

Even Better

Well I decided I wanted more of these so I purchased a half of a wine barrel and ordered more mints and just got them today and I was amazed at how good these looked. It seems like every year Gurneys gets better at shipping better looking plants. Thanks again.

Doing well

When I first recieved these, they looked like many plants I've recieved in the past. They looked pretty sad over all. I planted the 3 mints in a large 16 inch pot. Well let me tell you right now they have almost filled it in and its only been a few months. They look and smell really good. So I decided to make a applemint pesto for some sirlon steaks. Oh man let me tell you that was really good. It had a hint of apple flavor, with a nice refreshing taste with every bite, and it smelled so good grilling it too. Well worth the buy.
