Product Details

A truly unique cream shrub rose with a bright rose-red eye. One of the first ever repeat-blooming Hulthemia roses, Bull's Eye, bred by Peter James of the United Kingdom, represents years of hybridizing in an effort to capture the novelty of Hulthemia persica blooms with the repeat-blooming characteristics of modern roses. Bull's Eye exhibits superb black spot resistance and performs particularly well in northern climates. With a full, upright growth habit, unique grey-green foliage, and large clusters of blossoms, Bull's Eye truly is a groundbreaking landscape rose that will impress even the most discerning rosarian. Each offer contain 1 plant

  • Zones: 4 - 10 (-20 degrees)
  • Height: 4 - 5 ft
  • Spacing: 3 - 4 ft
  • Depth: Plant at the same level it is planted in the pot. Don't bury the crown of the plant (where the roots meet the stem).
  • Spread: 3 - 4 ft
  • Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade. Full sun is best for quicker flowering and higher quality plants.
  • Soil Preference: Well drained, enriched soil
  • Pruning: After flowering and once established, prune to maintain shape and increase branching. Remove any dead or damaged branches.
  • Color: Extremely novel - cream with a cranberry eye zone.
  • Foliage: Grey-green foliage
  • Blooms: Late spring to fall. ( all summer)
  • Flowers: Semi-double, borne in large clusters, medium-small flower (2 1/2 - 3 inches) Moderate sweet spice fragrance.
  • Growth Rate: Moderate once established
