Bed bugs are fast becoming quite the pesky pest of the 21^st century. Their recent invasion of urban areas has increased awareness across the country. These tiny terrors are typically on the prowl at night, while their human victims sleep. Bed bugs, unlike cockroaches, which feed on filth, can infest the most pristine of places. They can survive just about anywhere: in homes, hotels, clothes, subways, movie theaters, and any location where there’s an abundance of their food supply. They are most commonly found in cracks and crevices of furniture and fabrics. Although their bites may itch and swell due to allergic reaction and/or infection, bed bugs are not known to carry any diseases. They remain a nettlesome nuisance, none the less.
