Details

Sow summer oats in late summer or undersow between corn and bean rows at 3-4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Winter will kill these plants at about 15°F, leaving thick roots to hold the soil and mats of straw. 1 1/2 lbs. seeds 375-500 sq. ft.
