Extend the growing season into the fall with the Frost Patrol Plant Protector that guards your plants from damaging frost in spring and fall. Safe for use on food-producing plants such as vegetables, fruit and nut trees. Shields tender young blooms and buds from damaging frost 1-2°F below freezing temperatures. Enhances a plant’s natural ability to “super-cool” itself by lowering the temperature at which cell structure can be damaged. After application, the plant absorbs the product and it is effective within 6-8 hours. Best results are obtained when product is applied 48 hours prior to frost. Should be reapplied if rain occurs within 24 hours of application.
