Great plant so far!!
Reviewed By: Jeff (Austin, Texas)
I was a bit concerned about ordering an exotic fruit plant but my wolfberry (goji) arrived in early March in fantastic condition. The root ball was moist and protected, and the leaves were all green, healthy, and intact. I planted it immediately in a 10" pot in basic Scotts gardening soil and put it in a spot that receives 4-6 hours of direct sunlight/day and filtered sun for the remaining day. Now, 7 weeks later, I have already had to trim it back because of the impressive growth it has shown (and to keep the shrubby shape that I desire). So far, this goji berry plant has been one of the easiest things I have ever transplanted and grown! Can't wait for it to fruit next year!

Green Thumb

Goji grows very fast in the right conditions. All gurney plants arrive very small and frequently very light deprived as if they have been boxed for weeks. But with slow introduction to sunlight they have all done well.

Hearty plants in Denver
Reviewed By: Andrew (Denver, CO)
Do not be discouraged by the small size Gurney's ships, my first one survived the first year and grew to be a large bush the second and produced some in the fall, it produced very heavy the entire third year and I have wild ones now growing (and producing, completely neglected). The main down side is that hornets love them too. If you have never had the berries, they are a little like cranberries only sweeter. If you like sweetened dried cranberries I would think you would like these.

My bush is doing great this Spring. It is leafing out nicely and looks strong and healthy. The stem is thick considering how small it was when it arrived. My family is very pleased with this purchase. As I said customer service was very helpful with this purchase. It was small when it arrived but that means it can be sold at a lower price.
