Depth: 2" with plump, round side down. Cover with heavy layer of mulch or fertile soil.

Fruit: Softneck with large outer cloves wrapped in papery white coverings
Comments: Harvest when leaves have turned brown. Pull up the bulbs and, with leaves attached, and allow to dry in the sun for a few hours. Then spread them out in a dry, well ventilated place until the leaves are papery in texture and appearance typically 2-3 weeks. After cutting period, cut tops off and store in a cool and dry location. Can store for 6-9 months and retain full flavor.
